HDD technology is a minimal impact trenchless method which was introduced for installing infrastructure pipeline in a radius along a prescribed underground path. This method can meet the requirement of minimal surface disturbance on traffic with low restoration cost, and compliance with laws and regulations as compared to conventional trenching. 

During HDD operation, reckless operation and handling due to lack of know-how, bad habits and indifferent attitudes have caused and can cause loss of lives, permanent injury and extensive damage to properties whereby could even shut down operations and put fellow employees out of a job. This course will help reduce the tragedy and personal suffering from accidents, lower the cost of waste and improve the overall efficiency and productivity. The good record and skill of a trained HDD operator will be most valuable to the company and his future. 
For technical skills assessment, VR Simulator is introduced to ensure that all the trainees are able to perform both Machine Operation and Pilot Bore practices in a simulated working environment.  After program completion, trainees will be able to achieve the competency requirement from trenchless industry in Machine and Pilot Bore Operation, drilling fluid mixing and HDD Pre-Bore Profiling.
